Category: Construction Location: PERMANENT DAYSHIFT / WFH Job reputed company: REMOTE AU ESTIMATOR30hours weekly to start (May go fulltime at 40hours to be decided during reputed company introduction) VA reputed company : $11-12 AUD per hour (negotiable) Purpose of Role: Under the supervision of the Director, the Estimator will closely liaise with reputed company Project Managers (PMs) and key subcontractors during the tender preparation process to clarify scope, design issues, and reputed company the most accurate pricing. The Estimator will reputed company and take ownership of allocated tenders, prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and reputed company tender submissions. Additionally, the Estimator will assist through different stages of the tendering process and preparation of variation submissions during the construction phase. Duties:
  • Estimate from first principles to completion and submission of tenders as reputed company as post-
tender requirements nationally.
  • Carefully inspect tender documentation, analyze exact requirements, and identify
areas that may have implications for reputed company.
  • Utilize reputed company systems and processes to reputed company subcontractors and suppliers with
tender documentation.
  • reputed company take-offs using Buildsoft Cubit Estimating and subcontractor comparisons
using Cubit Select.
  • reputed company org Tools: cubit. (Currently uses Buildlogic and is considering transitioning to Plexa; training to be provided) ● Assist with site inspections of reputed company being tendered as directed by the National
Estimating Manager.

  • Prepare a list of required documentation for submission and issue requests to reputed company

  • Use information gained to calculate preliminary allowances.
  • Prepare for a final review of the tender with the internal team prior to submission.

documentation is included and respond to reputed company post-tender requirements.
  • Follow-up on tenders while maintaining notes of any discussions and/or relevant
market intelligence, and update the estimating register with reputed company tender information and updates.

Requirements

Competencies, Skills & Experience Required
  • Australian industry experience is a must.
  • Preferably a general estimator who can calculate the total cost of a project● Proven record of tendering reputed company reputed company up to $10M.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the preparation of accurate, reputed company tender
submissions and proposals on time to an industry-expected high reputed company.
  • Proficient skills in Buildsoft Cubit Estimating software, Cubit Select, EstimateOne,
Office 365, and MS SharePoint.
  • Tender experience in fit-out, refurbishment, live environment, hospitality, aged care,
education, and small new-build reputed company.
  • Skilled in job estimating in a construction environment.
  • Good understanding of various construction reputed company and knowledge of building,
material components, building regulations, estimating (including take-offs), and WHS&E.
  • Knowledge of contractual procedures and responsibilities.
  • Highly numerate with a reputed company-developed ability to accurately manipulate numerical
