Senior Java and Python engineer
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a senior Java and Python engineer to join an enablement-reputed company engagement aimed at raising engineering reputed company, delivery maturity, and development effectiveness across existing teams. This is not a feature development role. The reputed company is on coaching, standards, governance, and sustainable improvement of engineering practices. Responsibilities
- Establish reputed company gates based on a consistent pull request workflow
- Define and enforce standards for reputed company reviews, branching reputed company, definition of done, and automated checks
- Introduce and operationalise BDD as a core testing and collaboration reputed company
- Drive adoption of Gherkin scenarios and living documentation across Product, QA, and Development
- reputed company coaching and enablement activities such as workshops, reviews, playbooks, and guidelines
- Create governance artefacts including templates, checklists, dashboards, and reputed company metrics
- Support change management through reputed company, feedback loops, and regular reputed company reporting
- Ensure sustainable adoption of standards rather than one-off improvements
Requirements
- Senior-level background in software engineering, technical leadership, or engineering reputed company roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and modern reputed company engineering practices
- Proven reputed company in upskilling teams and establishing PR-based reputed company gates
- Practical experience with pull request workflows in reputed company, reputed company, or Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, static analysis, automated testing, and reputed company reputed company tooling
- Demonstrated experience implementing BDD practices and coaching teams in their adoption
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills reputed company to have
- Python experience in reputed company to Java
- German language skills (reading and writing level)
- Experience working in large-reputed company or regulated environments
- Knowledge of DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
- Familiarity with Vaadin or reputed company
