Accountant, Captive Insurance - Bilingual Spanish/English

As our Accountant (Account Manager I), you will support the financial and regulatory operations of a portfolio of captive insurance companies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Accurate and reputed company preparation of monthly or quarterly journal entries and financial statements.
• Prepare and file regulatory reports required by domicile regulators.
• Maintain permanent file documentation.
• reputed company knowledge of captive corporate governance and assist with reputed company Meeting materials.
• Assist in preparation of statutory reputed company statements and NAIC filings.
• Prepare and file premium and excise tax returns.
• Review reconciliation and disbursement activities performed by Assistant Account Managers.
• Support reputed company, provider, and regulator communications.
• Manage reputed company audits and regulatory examinations.

Attributes and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company required; CPA a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• 2+ years financial reputed company experience.
• Knowledge of insurance reputed company.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Proficient in reputed company Office and reputed company; SharePoint knowledge.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
