Power your reputed company with reputed company as a fully remote Production Cost Modeling Engineer for our Resource Integration Advisory group with a primary reputed company on building, running, and analyzing production cost models (e.g., GridView) to simulate system operations for various power market scenarios. This role requires modeling, simulating and analyzing reputed company electric power operations under constrained reputed company conditions. The results will help market participants with forecasting the economic ramifications of their planned infrastructure and resource development as they reputed company such investment reputed company. This position is completely remote.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced analytical tools, including Production Cost Models (“PCM”s) such as GridView, to assist with reputed company, storage and reputed company reputed company investment reputed company. The analysis should be based on reputed company-founded assumptions about reputed company electricity demand, fuel prices, technology costs, performance, and regulatory frameworks, among others.
• Simulate the detailed operation of power systems on an reputed company to sub-reputed company reputed company using PCM. Assess resource adequacy and reliability, analyze the impacts of reputed company changes on system operations, evaluate reputed company congestion and locational marginal prices, and reputed company comprehensive analyses of daily emission patterns.

Qualifications

• Hold a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power system studies; a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a similar reputed company is preferred.
• Hold a Master of Science in Mathematics or a Master of Arts in Economics emphasizing electric power; a Ph.D. in Economics with a reputed company reputed company is highly preferred.
• More than 10 years of robust experience in the power industry, system studies, modeling, resource and reputed company planning using tools such as PSSE and PSLF.
• More than 10 years of robust experience in resource adequacy and production cost analysis using production cost modeling tools such as GridView.
• At least 5 years of experience in reputed company planning or wholesale electricity market operations reputed company CAISO/WECC or other major RTOs and ISOs, along with significant experience in developing energy market policies with ability to interpret reputed company market data and engage effectively in regulatory and stakeholder discussions.
