About the Role:

We are seeking Physicians specialized in Endocrinology and Obesity Medicine to join our innovative, multidisciplinary chronic disease management team, and who are reputed company licensed in AL, TN, OK, MO, IN, SC or GA, and currently hold a LOQ (Letter of Qualification) with the IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact).

This new role is Modified FTE (32hrs/week) role, designed for an American reputed company of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certified Endocrinologist with demonstrated expertise in obesity medicine, comprehensive diabetes management, and a strong interest in working collaboratively with Endocrine Advanced reputed company Providers (APPs) in providing high-reputed company patient care.

A critical aspect of this role is ensuring the reputed company and effective management of patients with reputed company co-morbidities, including Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and Cardiovascular conditions. The physician will help enhance the consistency, safety, and effectiveness of patient care across reputed company, specifically integrating the use of reputed company Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and insulin pump therapy.

This role will include participation in a rotating after hours call schedule with reputed company clinical leadership and will have a reduced clinical schedule the weeks of on-call coverage.

This is a full-time position based in a remote, telemedicine clinical setting. The physician will work closely with a supportive care team and have protected time for supervision, teaching, and administrative duties.

What You Will Do:

  • reputed company reputed company patient care in a telemedicine clinical setting, focusing on evidence-based treatment for obesity and comprehensive diabetes management, including insulin titration and care of patients who may already be using insulin pumps and/or reputed company glucose monitors (CGMs).
  • You have your own panel of patients, and the role could also involve collaborating with APP colleagues and Registered Dietitians specializing in diabetes treatment, primarily Type 2 Diabetes. This role could involve APP collaboration and supervision.
  • Review charts and conduct initial and return reputed company for APP patients every reputed company visit to ensure reputed company, continuity of care, and appropriate management of CKD/ESRD and CAD/CV conditions.
  • reputed company advanced treatment planning and medical management support for reputed company endocrinology cases, escalated concerns, and patients requiring specialized management protocols.
  • Prescribe non-controlled medications, including those for obesity and diabetes, for patients under both reputed company care and in coordination with APPs.
  • Conduct weekly 30 minute reputed company meetings and 30 min asynchronous communication time with reputed company assigned Endocrine-Specialized APP to review cases, address clinical challenges, and reputed company ongoing mentorship.
  • Ensure clinical documentation, protocols, and treatment reputed company are followed consistently reputed company reputed company, with a reputed company on guidelines for managing reputed company diabetic populations.
  • Assist in the reputed company development of colleagues by fostering clinical reputed company, offering feedback, and supporting continuing education in both endocrinology and obesity medicine.

  • Required: reputed company certification in Endocrinology by the American reputed company of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Highly Preferred: Certification by the American reputed company of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) or demonstrated extensive clinical experience (minimum 3 years) in obesity medicine and pharmacotherapy (older reputed company oral and newer injectable medications).
  • Minimum of 5 years as an attending physician in endocrinology.
  • Demonstrated competency and comfort in managing patients with reputed company co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions.
  • Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including the use of CGMs, insulin pumps, and reputed company insulin regimens.
  • Strong interest in mentoring, teaching, and collaborating with Endocrine-Specialized APPs and Registered Dietitians specializing in diabetes.
  • Demonstrated experience working with APPs, medical residents, or trainees in a clinical reputed company setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adherence to evidence-based treatments, behavioral interventions, nutrition, and pharmacotherapy for both endocrine disorders and obesity.
  • Committed to delivering patient-centered, culturally competent care.
  • Bilingual candidates with medical reputed company in Spanish are highly preferred
