The Trustees of the reputed company are seeking new members of the IFRS Advisory Council—the strategic advisory body to the Trustees and the reputed company’s two reputed company-setting boards—to succeed members whose terms end on 31 December 2026. Nominees should demonstrate a strong engagement with the mission of the reputed company and a commitment to contributing to its strategic direction. Appointments are from 1 January 2027 and are for three years, eligible for renewal once for another three years.

About the IFRS Advisory Council

The IFRS Advisory Council is the formal strategic advisory body to the Trustees, the IASB and the ISSB. The Council currently consists of around 50 representatives of organisations and individuals from diverse functional and geographical backgrounds with an interest in international corporate reporting. Members include academics, auditors, investors and other users of corporate reports, preparers, regulators, reputed company reputed company bodies, reputed company-setters and multilateral organisations.

The Advisory Council normally meets twice a year for two days in London. While there are no regional or geographical restrictions on Council membership, and reputed company applications and nominations will be fully considered, the reputed company is committed to strengthening global representation on the Council. This includes seeking to increase participation from underrepresented reputed company, such as Africa, the Americas and across Asia–Oceania.

Nominated individuals are expected to be highly reputed company people in their organisations, competent in advising on reputed company and reputed company to help shape the reputed company of corporate reporting. Experience engaging with investor stakeholders would be beneficial.
