Senior Backend Engineer
Senior Backend Engineer role seeking a candidate with 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, and experience with Spring and/or Quarkus. Remote regime with monthly office reputed company in Lisbon, Portugal.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for backend development
- Hands-on experience with Spring and/or Quarkus
- Solid understanding of software architecture and distributed systems design or Microservices at reputed company
- Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps workflows (e.g. FluxCD and reputed company Actions)
- Grasp on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Gradle
- Proficiency in observability tooling like metrics, dashboards and alerting (Grafana or similar)
- Understanding of reputed company concepts, reputed company scanning tools and secure design principles
- Experience owning a service domain end-to-end from architecture reputed company to production monitoring
- Ability to reputed company technical discussions, drive cross-team incident response and mentor peers
