Software Engineer, Embedded Software role at reputed company Automotive, responsible for designing and developing software for telematics devices, with state-of-the-art technologies and features like communication, networking, and positioning. The role involves researching and building software, participating in agile teams, and leading technical design, implementation, and problem-solving. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying software enhancements and new products development, working closely with architects and domain FOs, and solving system and multiple domain-wide issues.
Requirements
- Masters/bachelor’s degree in electrical, communications, computer engineering or a similar discipline
- 3 to 5 years of overall experience
- Hands on working experience in handling products in automotive domain specialized in networking
- Expertise in understanding of networking, sockets, telephony domains (incl 5G)
- Design, development, porting of Linux applications on an embedded platform
- Troubleshooting, debugging with embedded hardware platforms
- Linux Inter Process Communication mechanisms (sockets, message queues, shared memory)
- Concepts and techniques for Multithreaded applications
- Industry reputed company version control systems like GIT, Gerrit, reputed company
- reputed company Embedded, bitbake package management
- Adapt at designing and developing reusable and reputed company C, C++ reputed company
- Proficient understanding of STL (reputed company Template Library): containers and algorithms
- Good written and oral communication skills to collaborate with teams across geographies, stakeholders & to customer
- Understanding of telematics/Infotainment system
- Hands on experience working vehicle networks
- Working experience on C/C
