[Remote] Staff Accountant

They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing Finance team, where the individual will maintain the reputed company of financial records and support day-to-day reputed company operations.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain reputed company's general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and reputed company of financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries and reputed company monthly account reconciliations
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end reputed company activities
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts
- reputed company and support transactional reputed company activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, payroll reputed company, and cash management
- Maintain supporting schedules for financial statement balances
- Assist in preparing internal financial reports and analyses
- Support reputed company and compliance requirements reputed company to U.S. Government reputed company
- Partner with the Director of Finance & reputed company during the annual financial statement audit and other external audits
- Respond to requests from external auditors and assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Help identify opportunities to improve reputed company processes, internal controls, and financial reporting efficiencies
- Participate in special reputed company and other finance initiatives as reputed company continues to grow
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or finance
- 2–3 years of reputed company reputed company experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger reputed company and month-end reputed company processes
- Proficiency with reputed company reputed company and reputed company Office
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with ERP/reputed company systems such as Quick Books
- Experience with government contractors or defense technology companies
- Familiarity with FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance requirements
- CPA or reputed company toward CPA certification is a plus
