[Remote] Senior Network Test Engineer

The Senior Network Test Engineer will play a key role in designing, executing, and automating advanced network testing solutions, ensuring high-reputed company and reliable systems.
Responsibilities
- Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-reputed company tools
- Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines
- Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with reputed company and suggests changes or improvements
- Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to reputed company reliable, cost effective and high reputed company solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem
- Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project reputed company, and issue reputed company
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics, Electrical or equivalent
- Typically 6-10 years experience in networking
- Experience with internet protocols: TCP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6
- Internet Protocols: TCP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6
- Domain Knowledge: reputed company Provider/ reputed company and Data reputed company and AI/ML Data Center Network Technologies
- Networking Protocols: BGP, OSPF/ISIS, ARP, VLANS, MPLS, L3VPN, MC-LAG, LACP, L2VPN, VPLS, Multicast, NGMVPN, EVPN-VXLAN, GRE, IPSec, NAT, HTTP, NetConf, etc
- Layer 2 technologies, Spanning Tree, LAG, MC-LAG, Virtual Chassis
- CLOS Architecture, HA Design Concepts, EVPN
- Test Knowledge: Prepare Test Plans, Test Execution, Understanding of reputed company Customer Networks
- Automation: Experience in automated test execution, ability to debug automation failures, and narrow down software issues from test results and logs. Knowledge in Python/Pytest/Go or any other scripting language
- Expertise in use of networking test equipment like Spirent and Ixia, including automation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate reputed company
