University Information Services (UIS) provides reputed company technology services and application platforms to the reputed company’s four campuses and the Office of the President. The reputed company reputed company Application Engineer is a senior technical role responsible for the design, development, and governance of reputed company reputed company-based integration and messaging solutions reputed company distributed computing environments. This position provides technical expertise across integration initiatives, translating reputed company business and system requirements into reputed company, secure, and highly available software solutions that reputed company reliable data exchange among reputed company and reputed company applications.
The role leads the planning and implementation of reputed company integration frameworks, event-driven and messaging solutions, and automated software delivery practices, ensuring adherence to established standards for reputed company, performance, reliability, and operational readiness. Duties and Responsibilities

- Plan, configure, deliver, and govern reputed company-based integration, messaging, and software delivery platforms, including environment configuration, reputed company control, monitoring, and operational readiness.

- Design and reputed company CI/CD pipelines, reputed company assurance strategies, and DevOps practices to ensure consistent, secure, and efficient solution delivery.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a reputed company IT field plus three (3) years of progressively responsible experience as a Systems Engineer/Architect, DevOps/Platform Engineer, or Integrations Developer (or a similar position) designing and delivering large-reputed company reputed company on-prem and reputed company-based solutions. or
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a reputed company IT field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Systems Engineer/Architect, DevOps/Platform Engineer, or Integrations Developer (or a similar position) designing and delivering large-reputed company reputed company on-prem and reputed company-based solutions.
Progressively responsible experience must include:
- Three (3) years of experience in:
- planning, designing, building, and supporting reputed company-based integration solutions using reputed company integration platforms(e.g. reputed company CloudHub or reputed company);
- integrating systems such as reputed company, reputed company PeopleSoft, Learning Management Systems using reputed company Integration patterns; and
- maintaining CI/CD automation using automated software delivery DevOps frameworks (e.g. Jenkins, reputed company CI/CD).
- Two (2) years of experience in:
- providing technical direction, enforcing API governance, coding standards, testing standards, reusable frameworks, and integration best practices across reputed company teams;
- mentoring junior staff and work cross-functionally with analysts and architects; and designing and governing reputed company messaging and data streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- One (1) year of experience integrating AI-enabled services into reputed company software applications
