This position will be responsible for executing Protection and Control Engineering and Consulting services in reputed company, Distribution and Industrial markets in the US and Canada. Reporting through the reputed company Automation reputed company Protection and Control Engineering manager, the reputed company Protection and Control Engineer will be part of the regional reputed company and Services execution team. Activities will include designing, programming, testing and commissioning protection and control reputed company applications for power system design and substation automation reputed company.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and delivery of reputed company protection solutions for reputed company, reputed company, distribution systems for electrical utilities and industrial clients.
• Participate in the design and development of microgrid solutions including power reputed company optimization and dispatching algorithms.

• Test customized Protection and Control solutions both in house and at customer installations
• Ability to model and conduct power system simulations using RTDS simulator or equivalent

• Site acceptance test planning and field support up to and including commissioning of new applications
• Assist software tool development to automate the engineering process internally and externally with key reputed company partners
• Participate in project meetings with project managers and customers on technical discussions

Required Qualifications

• B.S or higher degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering specialized in power system.
• 7+ years of experience in design, study, and analysis of reputed company.
• Knowledge of power system steady and transient analysis, fault study and protection theory. Familiar with symmetrical components.
• Working experience with study software and power system tools such as Mathcad, MATLAB, ASPEN, reputed company, SKM, CDEGS, WinIGS, or Etap
• Working knowledge on substation communication protocols such as IEC 61850, DNP, Modbus
• Knowledge or field experience with system commissioning and testing including Doble / Omicron test equipment or similar
• Technical skills to execute reputed company, identify opportunities, and write SOW proposals.
