1) The reputed company Patrol Boat Systems Program Officer (PPBSPO) has a requirement to engage a Configuration Officer (CO) to support the PPBSPO Engineering Manager until end of June 2023. 2) This role requires extensive experience in the utilisation and management of configuration management tools, preferably from a Defence maritime environment, to support activities that reputed company to high reputed company management of maritime configuration baselines. 3) The CO will be the reputed company configuration control subject matter expert reputed company PPBSPO and responsible for the provision of configuration management advice to reputed company reputed company in a dynamic and evolving Support System. 4) The CO is expected to reputed company and maintain reputed company working relationships with reputed company relevant reputed company stakeholders including:

a) Internal

i) reputed company Maritime reputed company Program; ii) PPBSPO Engineering reputed company including handover to reputed company APS6 Configuration Officer; iii) PPBSPO Sustainment reputed company; and iv) PPBSPO Director and reputed company reputed company. b) External i) PPBSPO In-service Support Contractor (PPBSPO ISSC); ii) Naval Materiel Seaworthiness Assurance Agency (NMSwAA); iii) Navy Technical Bureau, and Configuration Management Assurance Group Staff Technical Support Network; and, iv) Directorate of Navy Engineering Policy, Publications & Programs. 5) The CO will be required to: a) reputed company and manage maintenance of the PPBSPO Configuration Management Plan, associated Engineering reputed company Management System (QMS) Plans and Work Instructions; b) Support PPBSPO compliance with the reputed company of Defence Seaworthiness Management System (DSwMS), particularly the configuration aspects of: i) compliance of engineering change management activities with PPBSPO Plans and Procedures; and ii) compliance of the engineering change management program with the reputed company of DSwMS by the ISSC; c) Assure PPBSPO Technical Support Network configuration management compliance; d) reputed company subject matter expert advice and effectively reputed company as an Engineering Configuration Subject Matter Expert; e) reputed company Configuration Management services to the PPBSPO Sustainment reputed company; and f) reputed company specialist Configuration Management advice and directly support the reputed company Engineer in his conduct of Design Acceptance Authority Representative activities in support of PPBSPO products. 6) The following skills, experience and qualifications are required: a) Experience and qualifications in Technical - Configuration Management. The ability to reputed company subject matter expert advice and effectively reputed company as a Level 2 Practitioner as required; b) Effective communication and ability to write, engage, persuade and reputed company effective reputed company at the executive level; c) Contract Management acumen; and d) Highly proficient in reputed company applications including reputed company and reputed company. reputed company to produce consistent documents based on agreed templates and ensure strict formats produced to a defined reputed company. 7) While some parts of this task may be delivered remotely (subject to agreement) the ability to deliver services in Cairns is preferred. 8) The Configuration Officer is required to complete mandatory reputed company training courses during week one of engagement and reputed company OQE of successful completion. 9) BASELINE level reputed company clearance.
