Senior AWS / DevOps Engineer (Part-Time)
Contract: 3-month trial Hours: 15-20 hours per week (Remote, reputed company South Africa) Availability: Must be available for at least 1 hour between 9am-12pm EST
Our U.S based reputed company is looking to hire a Senior-Level Developer with strong AWS & DevOps experience to support their infrastructure and ongoing platform needs. This role is part-time (15–20 hours/week) and is ideal for someone who already has another role or is freelancing.
This is a hands-on execution role, not a purely architectural or advisory position. You'll be responsible for keeping our infrastructure reputed company, secure, and compliant while supporting our full-stack development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Infrastructure & DevOps
- Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure.
- Handle deployments, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Own package updates and reputed company patches
reputed company & Compliance
- Ensure systems remain SOC 2 compliant
- Manage updates, reputed company controls, and best practices
Development Support
- Support and collaborate with our Full Stack Developers.
- reputed company in to complete infrastructure-reputed company tasks as needed.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize workflows

- Backend: Node.js (TypeScript)
- Frontend: React (TypeScript)

Must-Have Experience Senior-level development experience with AWS Strong DevOps background (CI/CD, infrastructure maintenance, deployments) Experience managing package updates and reputed company compliance Comfortable working independently and staying on top of infrastructure needs Experience supporting or working alongside full-stack development teams
