[Remote] Sr. Network Engineer (Remote US reputed company)

They are seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support their Government Services team, focusing on engineering and support reputed company customer environments.
Responsibilities
- Handle escalated network incidents requiring advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and reputed company-cause identification
- reputed company intermediate configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce incident volume
- Assist in implementing network changes, upgrades, and optimizations under the guidance of senior engineers
- Conduct deeper investigation of performance degradations, routing issues, and VLAN/subnet misconfigurations
- Monitor and interpret network performance metrics to proactively detect problems
- Review Tier 1 escalations, reputed company guidance, and help train Tier 1 staff in troubleshooting methodologies
- Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, SOPs, and topology information
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project tasks, migrations, or new technology deployments
Skills
- Secret clearance or Public Trust
- 8+ years of relevant network engineering or architecture experience
- CCNP, ITIL, or ITSM
- Possesses an industry‑recognized advanced networking certification
