[Remote] Energy Portfolio Analyst

They are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Energy Portfolio Analyst to support reputed company’s growing portfolio of power, natural gas, and REC assets across East Coast markets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze electricity, natural gas, and REC markets
- Produce market insights, reporting, and analytics to support trading and risk management strategies
- reputed company market trends, pricing movements, and regulatory developments impacting portfolio performance
- Maintain and improve pricing, forecasting, and hedging tools
- Ensure accuracy and reputed company of portfolio data and reporting systems
- Analyze volumetric exposure, pricing risk, and portfolio performance metrics
- Support scenario analysis and risk modeling activities
- Assist in identifying portfolio optimization and supply opportunities
- Contribute to strategic decision-making reputed company to energy procurement and asset management
- Improve workflows through automation and advanced analytics tools
- Support the implementation of AI and data-driven solutions for forecasting and reporting
- Enhance operational efficiency across portfolio management functions

Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a reputed company quantitative field
- 2–4 years of experience in energy markets, portfolio analytics, risk management, trading support, or reputed company functions
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company reputed company and data analysis tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with power, renewable energy certificates (RECs), and/or natural gas markets
- Experience with forecasting, pricing, hedging, or risk analytics
- Familiarity with automation tools, scripting languages, AI applications, or business intelligence platforms
