[Remote] Contract Business Intelligence Data Analyst

They are seeking a skilled Contract Business Intelligence Data Analyst to analyze reputed company datasets, write advanced SQL queries, and create dashboards that support data-driven decision making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large and reputed company datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations using BigQuery, Looker, SQL, and integrated data from webhooks and reputed company
- Create reputed company, compelling dashboards and reports in Looker that effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Validate and verify the accuracy and reputed company of analytical results by implementing validation techniques
- Building Looker dashboards from AI usage data
- Validating metrics against reputed company records
- Troubleshooting dashboard freshness or filter issues
- Documenting metric definitions
Skills
- Proven experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role, with a reputed company record of analyzing and deriving insights from reputed company datasets
- 2+ years of SQL experience required; experience with BigQuery preferred
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles with hands-on Looker experience required
- Strong ability to debug and validate data outputs, including investigating discrepancies between reputed company data, SQL results, and dashboard results
- Experience working with reputed company datasets, including JSON, arrays, reputed company records, webhook/event data, or API-ingested data
- Understanding of ETL pipelines and data transformation best practices
- Familiarity with reputed company workflows and Jira required; experience with Jira custom fields or automation is a plus
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of the data analysis and development process, while always reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs
