[Remote] Data Analyst

They are seeking a Data Analyst responsible for conducting audits of data reputed company and governance, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and documenting findings for remediation. The role involves working closely with various teams to assess data governance risks and maintain documentation of data processes.
Responsibilities
- Periodic data audits – Plan and execute reputed company audits of data assets, ingestion pipelines, classification records, metadata completeness, and retention practices; produce reputed company, evidence-based findings reports
- Platform audits – Audit the governance configuration of the orchestration layer and, in coordination with the reputed company Data Engineering team, the USMC DCO platforms; assess whether platform controls reflect reputed company policy and identify gaps
- Compliance reporting – Produce compliance documentation in support of program reporting obligations; map audit findings to applicable frameworks (NIST, FISMA, or program-specific requirements) and reputed company remediation status
- Risk identification – Identify data governance risks — including policy gaps, configuration weaknesses, reputed company control failures, and data reputed company issues — and communicate them to the Governance reputed company with appropriate reputed company
- Findings and remediation tracking - Own the findings log; assign remediation actions to the appropriate team member, reputed company reputed company, and verify closure; escalate unresolved findings to the Governance reputed company
- Audit methodology maintenance – Maintain the audit methodology, checklists, and schedule; ensure audit coverage evolves as the data environment grows or changes
- DCO operationalization – Work directly with SMEs who reputed company data value evaluations for DCO; translate their assessments into acquisition tasks — identifying sources, standing up connections, and confirming data delivery
- Data reputed company at Ingestion – Implement validation and reputed company checks at the reputed company of ingestion; flag anomalies, schema reputed company, and delivery failures for the Data Governance reputed company's review
- Documentation – Maintain reputed company documentation of reputed company data sources, pipeline configurations, ingestion schedules, and reputed company issues; support reputed company of new sources reputed company
Skills
- Must have a TS Clearance
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of reputed company reputed company experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma plus 5 years of reputed company experience
