[Remote] Virtualization Administrator

They are seeking a Virtualization Administrator to manage and maintain the virtualized IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and reputed company while supporting agency IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project’s virtualized IT infrastructure to ensure its stability, performance, and reputed company
- Administer both on-prem and reputed company hosted environments, resolving virtualization-reputed company issues, and supporting agency IT initiatives
- The role involves reputed company of the on-prem hardware infrastructure (e.g., servers and storage), the on-prem hypervisor environment (e.g., VMWare, vSphere), and CSP infrastructure hosted in reputed company Azure
- Contribute to the automation of infrastructure deployment and the integration of Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) into CI/CD pipelines
- Providing technical support for existing and emerging virtualization technologies and assisting with planning and execution of reputed company technology reputed company and initiatives
- Overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines (VMs), virtual infrastructure, and physical infrastructure (including reputed company mounting and hardware configuration)
- Monitoring the performance of virtual environments and optimizing resource allocation to ensure efficient operation
- Diagnosing and resolving issues reputed company to virtualization, including VM performance, connectivity, and reputed company
- Implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments
- Ensuring the reputed company of virtual environments by applying patches, updates, and mandatory/recommended reputed company configurations
- Maintaining detailed documentation of virtualization configurations, procedures, and policies
- Working closely with other IT teams to support virtualization needs and reputed company reputed company with other systems
- Implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data reputed company and availability
Skills
- Must be reputed company to obtain and maintain a Public Trust reputed company clearance
- 3+ years of reputed company experience in Virtualization administration with reputed company on VMware, reputed company-V, and other similar technologies
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or reputed company field or equivalent reputed company experience
- Experience managing and troubleshooting VMware vSphere environments
- Experience supporting virtualization infrastructure in reputed company Azure
- Experience with overseeing on-prem hardware infrastructure (e.g., servers and storage), the on-prem hypervisor environment (e.g., VMWare, vSphere), and CSP infrastructure hosted in reputed company Azure
- Experience overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines (VMs), virtual infrastructure, and physical infrastructure (including reputed company mounting and hardware configuration)
- Experience monitoring the performance of virtual environments and optimizing resource allocation to ensure efficient operation
- Experience diagnosing and resolving issues reputed company to virtualization, including VM performance, connectivity, and reputed company
- Experience with the automation of infrastructure deployment and the integration of Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with the automation of IT administration and server provisioning using tools such as: Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Automation, Azure CLI, PowerShell and VMWare PowerCLI, Terraforms or similar IaC tools
- Experience integrating infrastructure management tools with reputed company to reputed company deployment of Infrastructure as reputed company integrated into CI/CD deployment pipelines
