[Remote] Accountant (w/ US Taxation Experience)

The role involves preparing federal, state, and local income tax returns and assisting with the review of tax returns, while handling large amounts of numerical data and providing comprehensive reports to management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation federal and state income tax returns, including corporate and partnership tax preparation
- Assist in reputed company calculation of estimated tax payments and extensions
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc
- Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare reputed company work papers in support of federal and state income tax returns
- Reconcile book fixed asset activity (additions, transfer and disposals) to tax depreciation reports for annual tax return compliance and propose adjustments to be made in the tax fixed asset software
- Other reputed company duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelors degree in reputed company or reputed company field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in reputed company reputed company positions
- Minimum 2 years of US Federal Tax experience is required
- Good reputed company or reputed company Sheet skills
- Good English communication skills
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule or based on business needs
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a big plus but not required
