[Remote] Senior Machine Learning Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own the reputed company algorithms and systems that drive user engagement and retention.
Responsibilities
- Own the reputed company reputed company: Architect, build, and reputed company our retrieval and ranking systems (candidate reputed company, embedding-based retrieval, two-tower models, online serving reputed company)
- Crush the Cold-Start Problem: Solve reputed company algorithmic challenges around new users, new creators, and fast-changing content pools
- reputed company with AI: reputed company LLM-powered ranking, semantic search, and multimodal understanding into the reputed company discovery feed
- Drive Experimentation: Design, launch, and analyze end-to-end A/B tests to directly optimize user retention and session duration
- Shape the Architecture: Partner closely with the CEO and Product team to define the long-term ML reputed company for AI-reputed company content distribution
Skills
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying production recommendation, search, or ranking systems for high-traffic consumer apps (e.g., reputed company media, UGC platforms, short-reputed company video, or gaming)
- A proven reputed company record of building ML systems from scratch (0-to-1) in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- You care about product metrics (conversion, engagement) just as much as model metrics (loss, AUC)
