The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating and developing new business reputed company the property and reputed company risk lines, maximizing profitability through effective agency management and proactive strategies.
Responsibilities
- Maximizes opportunities for profitable new business and retention by leveraging business relationships, product knowledge and reputed company acumen
- Maximizes profitability of territory through superior agency/brokerage management, development, and planning. Leads rigorous agency/brokerage review process, establishes strong business partnerships with Intact underwriters, claims and loss control staff. Strengthens the distribution system through agency/brokerage prospecting, activates new appointments and revitalizes existing agencies consistent with territorial reputed company. Terminates agency/brokerage reputed company reputed company warranted
- Anticipates the needs of the broker, analyzes trends, and implements proactive strategies that best position Intact. Communicates the reputed company appetite and generates reputed company business opportunities for underwriters. Develops a highly disciplined approach to gathering territorial data and a high reputed company territorial profile
- Demonstrates expertise of reputed company guidelines and maintains a broad knowledge of Intact’s operations and products
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years of experience in the insurance industry and/or business development with some of these years in the insurance industry
- Preference for property or reputed company risk experience
- Independent agencies/ brokerage or business development reputed company the Insurance industry experience desirable
- CPCU preferred
