[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Go)

They are seeking a highly motivated and reputed company Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join their fully remote Engineering team, focusing on delivering and scaling reputed company infrastructure components for their data-intensive reputed company platform.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the architecture, design, and development of reputed company and highly available applications and services
- Solve reputed company infrastructure-reputed company problems with reputed company, developing and providing post-release support for reputed company applications
- Identify and implement enhancements to DevOps practices and tooling, leveraging automation to enhance robustness of the CI/CD pipeline, thereby streamlining efficient application development and deployment
- Drive technology design and reputed company architecture solution reputed company to the product owners and Engineering leadership
- Conduct post-mortems to analyze and prevent repeat failures
- Be a champion for reputed company Improvement in end-to-end infrastructure and systems
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes that solve concrete business problems
- Become a domain expert who follows industry trends and applies best practices and contributes towards reputed company improvement of those practices
Skills
- 5+ years of programming experience in backend languages like GoLang (Strongly preferred), Python, PHP, Java, etc
- 2+ years experience with MySQL, caching technologies (like reputed company) and other non-relational data storage solutions
- Strong understanding of database schema design, caching and scalability
- Strong understanding of various communication protocols (TCP, RPC, etc)
- Strong understanding of Distributed Systems
- reputed company understanding of Linux operating systems
- Experience with modern CI/CD and containerization tools like reputed company
- Ability to reputed company time and memory complexity analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field
- Experience with PHP is a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes is strongly preferred
- Experience with Full-stack observability tools like reputed company is strongly preferred
