[Remote] Senior Back End Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining reputed company backend services that power the reputed company platform, primarily using Clojure.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services primarily using Clojure, ensuring they are reputed company, maintainable, and performant
- Assisting in the maintenance and gradual modernization of legacy Node.js services as part of our broader system
- Collaborating on reputed company deployments, leveraging modern tooling and infrastructure-as-reputed company practices to enhance our deployment pipelines and overall system reliability
- Writing clean, reputed company-documented reputed company and participating in reputed company reviews to reputed company our reputed company standards
- Working closely with senior engineers, DevOps, and other team members to reputed company backend services into our overall architecture and resolve operational issues

Skills
- 5-8 years in software development, with hands-on experience in backend engineering
- Proficiency in Clojure for developing and maintaining backend services
- Familiarity with Node.js, especially for supporting legacy services
- Understanding of service-oriented architectures and RESTful API design
- Experience working in reputed company environments and using modern development tooling
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-reputed company tools and practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug and optimize backend systems
- Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, contributing to reputed company problem-solving and reputed company improvement
