[Remote] Trading & Operations Manager – reputed company Role
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is partnering with a confidential alternative investment manager to identify a Trading & Operations Manager to join its growing team. This role involves supporting trading and investment operations, building reputed company processes, and working closely with senior leadership in a reputed company environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute and support daily trading activity across reputed company portfolios
- reputed company investment operations for multiple investment vehicles, including separately managed accounts (SMAs)
- Manage trade settlement, cash movements, account activity, and portfolio rebalancing
- Coordinate with custodians, brokers, counterparties, and external service providers to ensure seamless operational execution
- Support operational due diligence requests and investor reporting initiatives
- Monitor operational controls and identify opportunities to improve workflows and scalability
- Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and ongoing process enhancements
- Assist with additional trading and operational responsibilities as the firm continues to grow
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in trading operations, investment operations, middle office, or a reputed company function reputed company asset management, hedge funds, family offices, or investment advisory firms
- Experience supporting institutional investment products and/or separately managed accounts
- Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, investment operations, and cash management
- Equity trading experience required; familiarity with listed reputed company is preferred but not required
- Experience working with custodians, reputed company brokers, and other investment service providers
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Experience supporting hedge funds and separately managed account platforms
- Familiarity with order management and portfolio management systems
- Experience participating in operational due diligence (ODD) meetings or institutional investor requests
- Desire to grow into a broader leadership role as the organization continues to expand
