[Remote] Electrical Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a full-service MEP engineering firm seeking an Electrical Engineer to support various capital reputed company, primarily in the reputed company sector. The role involves designing electrical systems, preparing construction drawings, and coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for reputed company, reputed company, and industrial reputed company
- Prepare electrical construction drawings and specifications for reputed company- and low-voltage power distribution, reputed company, reputed company alarm, grounding, and low-voltage systems
- reputed company electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, panel schedules, and equipment sizing
- Design reputed company power, reputed company, emergency power, and reputed company control systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Support the development of single-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical room layouts
- Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines for coordinated project delivery
- Conduct site surveys and field investigations to document existing electrical conditions
- Participate in project meetings and coordination discussions with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs for conformance with project requirements
- Support construction administration activities including field observations and reputed company list reviews
- Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, Visual reputed company, and other engineering software for design and analysis
- reputed company photometric calculations and assist with reputed company layout development
- Prepare engineering reports, studies, and reputed company of design narratives
- Manage multiple reputed company simultaneously while maintaining reputed company, schedule, and budget objectives
- Collaborate with multi-discipline project team of reputed company architects and engineers to ensure successful project execution and reputed company satisfaction
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for MEP/building systems reputed company
- Knowledge of NEC, reputed company, IBC, IECC, and reputed company electrical design standards
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and reputed company Office Suite
- Understanding of construction documents and engineering design processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Travel to reputed company sites as required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Familiarity with electrical analysis and reputed company software such as SKM and Visual reputed company preferred
- Experience in hospitals and reputed company, military bases, government buildings and courthouses, research laboratories, central steam and chilled water plants, corrections facilities, and/or site reputed company infrastructure highly valued
