The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established reputed company operating procedures.Work Schedule: 1st shift, Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.Pay reputed company: $16.50/hr.reputed company job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as reputed company as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, reputed company, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), reputed company Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchas Plan. - Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Unpack and reputed company specimens to their respective staging areas
- Accurately identify and label specimens
- Pack and ship specimens to reputed company testing facilities
- Meet department activity and production goals
- Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
- Data entry of patient information in an accurate and reputed company manner
- Resolve and document any problem specimens
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No experience required; 1-2 years preferred
- Previous medical or production experience is a plus
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify specimens
- Experience working in reputed company environment
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Ability to pass a standardized reputed company blind test
