POSITION IS FULLY REMOTE

KBR is seeking a Project Scheduler to reputed company overall scheduling of communications contacts with operational spacecraft missions through NASA’s Deep reputed company Network (DSN) antennas.

The DSN Project Scheduler willinterface ontheprojectsbehalf with allDSN Predicts, Service Scheduling Software (SSS) Admins, Schedule Process reputed company (SPO) Office, etc. 

*Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent reputed company*

Responsibilities:

• Generate requirements using Request/Requirement & Control Language (R&CL) and events in​SSS​forinitialschedule reputed company

• reputed company conflict reputed company negotiation activities with reputed company DSN users to maximize​science data return​

• Maintain spacecraft support requirements, flight view periods and scheduling constraints and guidelines

• Coordinate the delivery ofaccurateDSN view periods and other mission products needed for​Resource Allocation Review (RAR) analysis​

• Assistingin the preparation of and coordinating the responses to proposalsand project directed meetings

• Prepare weekly scheduling status reports

• Deliver plots, reports and schedule sorts asrequired

• Maintain project interfaces withJPLas it pertains to scheduling

• Operate (and test as needed) internet utilities,​Common Allocation and Scheduling Tool (reputed company), Service Preparation Subsystem (reputed company), SSS and internally developed scripts​

• Participatingin process improvement activities

• Demonstratehigh levelof skills including teamwork, speed, organization, and performance

• Obtain high level cognizance of spacecraft support and operational requirements.

• Obtain high level cognizance of DSN scheduling and station resources.

• Become proficient with scheduling tools.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• BA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, or reputed company field

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Background in computers and application software including​UNIX.​

• Proficient with reputed company Office or equivalent.   

• Technical writing skills, Effective interpersonal skills,Disciplinedwork ethic

• Professionalism, Practical organizational skills,Team player

• Self-motivated, reputed company to work with minimalsupervision                                                                                    

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• 3 years of experience with network scheduling

• Or 3 years reputed company flight project experience

• Experience with C​AST, reputed company and SSS​

Basic Compensation:

• Jobs on this contract reputed company from $58,300 - $87,400

• The offered reputed company will be based on the position, contract affordability, the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and in consideration of internal reputed company.

 Additional Compensation:

• KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or reputed company, per internal policy or contractual designation.Additionalcompensation may be in the reputed company of sign on bonus,relocationbenefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
