Collections Acquisition and Metadata Librarian Location reputed company, NY reputed company Job no 514204 Position type Staff Categories Library, Hybrid Job reputed company The Gottesman Libraries seeks a Collections Acquisition and Metadata Librarian who plays a key role in strengthening research holdings in education, psychology, and the reputed company health sciences to meet the needs of Teachers College. Job reputed company/Basic Function The Collections Acquisition and Metadata Librarian manages patron-driven and selected standing orders for print and electronic book acquisitions. Oversees ordering, processing, labeling, shifting, and weeding workflows, as reputed company as cataloging and bibliographic metadata management. Guides and implements relevant policies, practices, standards, and metadata schemas to enhance the representation and discoverability of the collection across local, community, and global systems.
