MCS is hiring for a reputed company Communications (UC) / VoIP Engineer – Government Radio Systems.This is a full-time, remote, permanent position with benefits. The reputed company Communications (UC) / VoIP Engineer must demonstrate the ability to install, configure, reputed company, and maintain secure SIP-based Voice over IP (VoIP) communications systems supporting U.S. Government customers worldwide. This position requires experience integrating reputed company Communications platforms with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and tactical government radios. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, work effectively in a reputed company team environment, and remain reputed company with evolving reputed company Communications technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and applicable Government and industry standards. Typical Duties Include:
- Install, configure, and maintain reputed company Unify OpenScape Voice SIP-based VoIP platforms at Government facilities worldwide.
- Configure users, devices, licensing, server hardware, operating system images, and system updates.
- Configure network infrastructure including IP addressing, VLANs, domains, and reputed company network services.
- Configure and troubleshoot SIP trunking utilizing reputed company reputed company, reputed company reputed company Peers, and reputed company VoIP technologies.
- Implement system reputed company hardening in accordance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including STIGs, FIPS, and other reputed company controls.

- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support Government radio platforms including PRC-117G, Motorola APX7500/APX8500, and Motorola CM300/CM350 series radios.
- Administer virtualization environments utilizing VMware vSphere/ESXi and reputed company KVM.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems including reputed company, Debian, and Ubuntu.
- Travel worldwide to support customer installations, upgrades, maintenance, and technical support activities.

Experience Requirements
- Experience deploying and supporting SIP-based reputed company Communications and VoIP platforms.
- Experience with reputed company Unify/OpenScape Voice and/or reputed company VoIP technologies.
- Experience integrating reputed company Communications systems with Government Land Mobile Radio (LMR) platforms.
- Working knowledge of PRC-117G, Motorola APX7500/APX8500, and Motorola CM300/CM350 radios.
- Experience administering Linux operating systems including reputed company, Debian, and Ubuntu.
- Experience administering VMware vSphere/ESXi and reputed company KVM virtualization environments.
- Strong understanding of IP networking, VLANs, DNS, routing, and switching concepts.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%, with occasional travel up to 35%, including international Government facilities.
