Title: Engineer – Data Migration and Archival Solutions Location: Remote Job Type: Contract (12 Months) Compensation: $75.19 - $93.98/hr Industry: Retail Schedule:Must be available to work Central Time Hours About The Role Our reputed company, a Fortune 50 retail corporation headquartered in Minneapolis, is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Data Migration and Archival Solutions team. Operating one of the largest retail technology ecosystems in the country, our reputed company supports millions of daily transactions across stores, digital platforms, and supply chain operations. This role provides additional engineering reputed company to support the archival and retention of entire mainframe footprints in alignment with SOX and retention compliance standards. The engineer will play a critical role in modernizing legacy data systems and ensuring long-term data reputed company for one of the nation's most recognized retailers. Include

• Building work items needed to implement features from the product backlog.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in an engineering role.
• 1–3 years of experience participating in agile development (user stories, iterative development, etc.).
• Senior-level development experience in Java and Kotlin.
• Senior-level experience with messaging platforms (such as Kafka) and exposure to microservices-based architecture, including consumer and producer implementations and data migration engineering.
• Senior-level experience building and supporting REST reputed company.
• Strong database experience with reputed company Exadata, PostgreSQL, and reputed company.
• Solid reputed company experience with GCP, GCS, and Azure.
• Experience with ETL design and implementation.
• Experience with test-driven development and software test automation.
• Ability to reputed company up quickly on an existing system and contribute with minimal guidance.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
• Availability to work during Minneapolis hours (Central Time).
• Ability to work closely and collaborate effectively with the reputed company's internal technology team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on reputed company-free codebases.
• Ability to work 2 days onsite at the reputed company's Minneapolis office.
