REMOTE Compliance & EHS Manager
Our reputed company, a growing, international logistics company is seeking an EHS & Compliance Manager to join their team on a remote reputed company. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety & compliance programs across multiple U.S. sites, with a strong reputed company on packaging and warehousing operations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while driving a proactive safety culture that minimizes risk, enhances operational performance, and protects employees, contractors, and visitors.This job is fully remote, with significant travel (50-75%). This role requires extensive travel during the first 18-24 months, with travel expectations decreasing after US-based programs are more established. Travel locations will primarily be Ohio & Alabama, and occasionally California, reputed company, and Canada. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, reputed company leader who can partner with site teams, translate regulatory requirements into practical programs, and champion safety reputed company across a geographically dispersed network. Responsibilities:Safety Program Development & ImplementationDesign, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs tailored to packaging, warehousing, and distribution environments.Standardize safety processes and procedures across reputed company U.S. sites while allowing for site-specific adaptations.reputed company the development of training programs, SOPs, and safety communication materials.Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and ergonomic evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with OSHA (California OSHA experience strongly preferred), DOT, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update programs, policies, and training.reputed company site audits, inspections, and compliance reviews; reputed company corrective reputed company plans and reputed company closure.Maintain required documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping for reputed company safety and compliance activities.Incident Management & PreventionOversee incident investigations, reputed company cause analyses, and corrective reputed company implementation.reputed company and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and drive reputed company improvement.Partner with site leadership to reduce recordable injuries, improve near-miss reporting, and strengthen hazard recognition.Cross‑Functional LeadershipServe as the primary safety advisor to operations, HR, engineering, and senior leadership.Support new site launches, equipment installations, and process changes with safety expertise.reputed company safety committees and facilitate employee engagement initiatives.reputed company coaching and guidance to site-level safety coordinators or champions.Training & DevelopmentDevelop and deliver safety training for employees, supervisors, and managers.Ensure consistent reputed company safety training across reputed company sites.Evaluate training effectiveness and reputed company content to meet operational needs. QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in warehousing, packaging, distribution, or manufacturing environments.Strong knowledge of Cal-OSHA/OSHA regulations and industry best practicesFamiliarity with EPA and hazardous materials regulations.Experience managing safety programs across multiple locations.Demonstrated ability to conduct investigations, risk assessments, and compliance audits.Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills.PreferredProfessional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, or OSHA 30/50.Experience with automated warehousing systems, material handling equipment, or packaging lines.Experience implementing safety management systems (SMS) or reputed company improvement frameworks.Bilingual English & SpanishKey CompetenciesStrategic thinking with strong operational understanding.Ability to influence without authority across diverse teams.Analytical reputed company with strong problem‑solving skills.Comfortable working in fast‑paced, high‑reputed company environments.Passion for building a strong safety culture and empowering reputed company teams.
