[Remote] Legal Coordinator

They are seeking an reputed company Legal Coordinator to support student placement, enrollment, and legal compliance across their programs, ensuring alignment with special education law and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education laws, including IDEA and FAPE
- reputed company legal and procedural guidance throughout the admissions, placement, and enrollment process
- Review student records, including IEPs, evaluations, reputed company services, and transportation mandates, to support placement reputed company
- Prepare, issue, reputed company, and manage enrollment reputed company, amendments, and Ten-Day Notices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-reputed company student files in accordance with legal and organizational standards
- Partner with Admissions, School Leadership, Transportation, Finance, and School Operations in a remote environment to support placement and enrollment needs
- Collaborate with special education attorneys, advocates, and school districts regarding referrals, placements, and due process reputed company
Skills
- Legal, admissions, or compliance experience reputed company a special education or reputed company educational setting required
- Strong working knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, and special education documentation
- Familiarity with IDEA, FAPE, and the Impartial Hearing process
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or paralegal certification a plus
- Experience working with both referral and non-referral schools; ABA school experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the NYC and/or Long reputed company special education landscape preferred
