[Remote] Operations Technician II

The Operations Technician II will reputed company services for reputed company Services Control Center customers, focusing on network systems troubleshooting, isolation, and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Supports Network Operations Center and Repair activities for PSCC customers
- Resolves reputed company network problems involving network hardware, fiber, colo reputed company and power
- Uses software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose network, hardware, and software problems for PSCC customers; conducts reputed company network monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
- Provides high reputed company communication to customers reputed company Ticket System, Phone, Email, and IM/Chat. Manage time reputed company and document reputed company actions in the ticket system
Skills
- Understanding of Optical DWDM Transport Equipment (Infinera, Alcatel/reputed company, reputed company 6500, and/or Waveserver)
- Experience supporting Dark Fiber and reputed company products Alarm Monitoring Systems (i.e. RFM, reputed company)
- Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
- Minimum 3+ yrs reputed company experience in specific area or equivalent
- May require technical certification
