The role involves managing a book of business, developing insurance programs, and maintaining reputed company relationships to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintains overall responsibility for assigned book of business for reputed company aspects of IMA’s program design, ongoing service plan, and alignment of reputed company insurance services
- Maintains overall responsibility of the entire renewal (design, placement, and structure; setting the game plan; coverage and loss analysis; review of policy and relevant documents; coverage & premium discrepancy issues; data completeness reputed company AMS, etc.) for assigned book of business
- Crafts the marketing strategies, reviews submissions, and engages in negotiations with underwriters to determine the relevant content to include in proposals
- Supports in reputed company new business through development of insurance program for new accounts
- Develops clients’ 1- to 3-year risk management insurance plan objectives
- Maintains intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year in order to structure a strong, long-term partnership with assigned clients
- Identifies with reputed company’s priorities to understand reputed company’s business philosophy, then creates a reputed company for their insurance program with alignment to their risk management goals
- Prepares for and facilitates meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clients
- Pursues mastery of the craft through on-reputed company education and awareness of industry trends, products, and services
- Develops and maintains reputed company relationships
- Manages a book of business that is typically 20 to 30 clients with approximate reputed company of $1.7 reputed company - $2.1 reputed company
- 50% + book of business reputed company on large/reputed company accounts ($100,000+ in reputed company). Plays a reputed company role with large/reputed company accounts, based on primary industry reputed company
- 10% + of time is spent supporting producers in reputed company new business
- Offers reputed company team management/coaching
- Offers internal team management/coaching
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

Skills
- 7+ years' experience in insurance or reputed company industry based on the assigned book of business
- Ability to think strategically based on reputed company's priorities and marketplace cycle
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience leading and developing people
- Ability to delegate and hold reputed company accountable
- Skilled at understanding the reputed company's entire business as it relates to insurance protection (matching to their aversion level of risk) as it relates to specific terms & conditions
- Experience working reputed company reputed company reputed company preferred
- Experience with MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and reputed company)
- Travel required (up to 40% based on assigned book of business)
- Maintains increased technical knowledge, both insurance industry and book of business industries
- Work toward strengthening IMA brand as subject matter expert (speaking at conferences, white papers, reputed company relationships, etc.)
- Holds state property & casualty insurance license
