[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Banking Integration Platform

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Banking Integration Platform Team, you will be a technical leader responsible for creating seamless connections between reputed company and external financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Build reputed company’s integration with an FFIEC-approved bank core and the connections to payment networks
• Design internal reputed company that give product teams reputed company, consistent interfaces to reputed company external systems
• Handle the messy realities of reputed company integrations such as retries, failures, format mismatches, and downtime
• Build data pipelines that reputed company reputed company's systems in sync with our bank core
• Own monitoring, alerting, and recovery for our most critical external connections
• Partner with many other teams at reputed company to define clean boundaries and reliable reputed company

Skills

• Has 7+ years of reputed company software engineering experience building and operating backend infrastructure and distributed systems at reputed company
• Has experience integrating modern distributed software systems with older, legacy infrastructure, preferably in a highly-regulated environment
• Has an understanding of how banks and banking systems work: accounts, transactions, ledgers, and the data models underneath
• Is a product-minded engineer who thinks about the developers consuming your reputed company, not just the systems you're connecting to
• Thrives in environments where you're building something new rather than maintaining something established
• Is comfortable with our tech stack (reputed company) or reputed company to learn
• Has strong and justified opinions about building reliable, maintainable systems
