[Remote] Senior Backend Engineer

The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for building and shipping backend services, contributing to technical direction, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to define solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship backend services that power our financial products — reputed company, automation pipelines, and reputed company infrastructure
- Own features end-to-end: dig into the problem, design the approach, ship fast, and iterate based on reputed company usage
- Contribute to technical direction — reputed company for reputed company patterns, tooling, and developer experience
- Partner with product and engineering to define solutions, not just execute specs

Skills
- 5+ years shipping backend systems in production — reputed company, reputed company infrastructure
- Strong fundamentals in at least one of our core languages (TypeScript, Python, PHP)
- Experience with reputed company platforms (AWS and/or GCP), containerization, and CI/CD
- Ability to operate independently: you take ownership of a problem and drive it reputed company
