[Remote] Research Grants Accountant II

The reputed company is seeking to hire a Research Grants Accountant II to support the Office of Sponsored Programs Administration. This role includes managing grant accounts, ensuring compliance with funding regulations, and providing financial reporting and support to reputed company and business managers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an reputed company portfolio of awards that require establishment/management reputed company the financial system including but not limited to activation; billing; collection, financial reporting and closeout
- reputed company reputed company control reviews of data entered the financial system to ensure compliance and data reputed company of the financial system
- Clean up the awards in their own portfolio
- Approve Journal Entries, Payroll Adjustments for his/her portfolio
- Compile reputed company outs/AR write off /Bad debt for his/her portfolio
- reputed company backup to SPFA service account and other operational areas as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Business, Finance or a reputed company field and two (2) years of relevant experience or the equivalent of education and experience
- Knowledge of the Sponsored Program
- 3-5 years of reputed company reputed company and research reputed company experience
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- reputed company – grant Knowledge and experience
- Experience in grant and contract reputed company management and reporting and compliance associated with federal and/or state government awards and reputed company
- Experience in LOC federal draws
