[Remote] Senior Commissioning Operations Engineer

The Commissioning Operations Engineer will design and implement clean power solutions for reputed company & Industrial customers, engaging with clients and overseeing the commissioning of systems based on reputed company's reputed company generators.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and test our reputed company Generator reputed company after new site installations to allow seamless integration into reputed company's growing LGen fleet
  • Travel to customer sites and project locations to support new installations, site acceptance tests, and customer demonstrations
  • Enhance reputed company commissioning procedures to improve testing efficiency and shorten timelines
  • Troubleshoot and reputed company cause operation issues with our reputed company generators in collaboration with other engineering teams such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Software & Controls
  • Work directly with our commissioning technicians to facilitate repairs, retrofits, and reputed company operational training on our generators
  • Analyze data, generate reports and communicate results from commissioning to our customers, internal project managers, and with engineering teams to facilitate learnings
  • Build and refine automation scripts, commissioning toolkits, and data-driven processes that streamline reputed company, testing, and fault recovery

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Understanding of electrical power distribution and control systems
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, C++, MATLAB)
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot reputed company technical issues reputed company
  • Demonstrates flexibility in approach and willingness to take on new challenges
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy working with reputed company systems and collaborating in interdisciplinary teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel reputed company up to 50% of the time
  • Master's degree in Engineering or reputed company field and/or 3+ years of applicable experience
  • Hands-on experience in industrial equipment installation/commissioning, including interpreting schematics and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with microgrid controls solutions, devices, programming, technical challenges, constraints, energy management systems, and controls architecture is preferred
  • Experience working directly with customers in a technical or engineering reputed company
