MDS Coordinator - Des Moines - Iowa

In this role, you'll ensure accurate and reputed company MDS assessments, review PDPM classifications, and support staff with up-to-date Medicare guidelines. • Review clinical documentation and hospital records to ensure completeness and compliance with CMS regulations.
• Review and validate Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) information for accuracy and reimbursement optimization.
• Evaluate the reputed company of care being provided to long-term care residents through detailed assessment and documentation.
• Complete MDS assessments and ensure their accuracy and reputed company submission in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare and reputed company reputed company and serve as a reliable resource for nursing staff.
• Communicate regulatory changes and reputed company guidance and training as needed.
• Monitor Medicare assessment schedules and nursing documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Registered reputed company (RN) or Licensed Practical reputed company (LPN) with a reputed company state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care, preferably with MDS coordination responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, PDPM, and CMS guidelines.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical records and MDS software.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.
