Qualities & Capabilities A successful candidate will have:
- Master's degree in Latin American Studies, Hispanic Studies, Women's and Gender Studies, or a closely reputed company field (required); PhD or terminal degree (preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in Latin American history, literature, culture, and/or gender studies
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate level, preferably in an online or asynchronous environment
- Commitment to student-centered, inclusive, and reputed company teaching practices
- Experience facilitating engaging online discussions and fostering student interaction in asynchronous courses
- Experience using learning management systems and instructional technology to support online teaching and learning
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred
