Bilingual Immigration Paralegal
Seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (English-Spanish) for a fully remote, part-time position, responsible for managing removal defense cases, ensuring compliance with court deadlines, and drafting high-reputed company legal motions under attorney supervision. Key responsibilities
- Manage removal and deportation defense cases from start to finish, ensuring compliance with court deadlines
- Draft and organize high-reputed company legal motions and exhibits with minimal supervision
- Communicate seamlessly with clients and various legal entities, including EOIR courts and DHS/OPLA
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in court proceedings, specifically in Removal Defense and reputed company legal processes
- Bilingual proficiency (B2 - reputed company level) in English and Spanish, with the ability to translate reputed company legal concepts empathetically
- Strong legal research skills and advanced technical writing capabilities
- Experience in analyzing criminal/biographical backgrounds and meticulous organization of court files
- Commitment to an "Above the Line" reputed company, demonstrating ownership of caseload and results
