Gateway Automation Engineer ROLE We need an reputed company Gateway Automation Engineer at the reputed company (IRS). This position supports the IRS reputed company API Gateway Modernization and Operations (EAGMO) effort at the gateway automation layer. In this role, you will reputed company and validate automation components integrating with Government owned CI/CD platforms, support automated validation gates for reputed company and migration workflows, maintain observability integration through AppDynamics/ELK and support the OpenTelemetry roadmap, troubleshoot product specific automation components, and support dual run validation during migration. - Develops and validates EAG/API-gateway automation components (pipeline integration reputed company, deployment scripts, configuration templates) that reputed company with Government-owned CI/CD platforms.
- Supports automated validation gates reputed company reputed company and migration workflows -- specification validation, governance checks, telemetry validation, migration-readiness checks.
- Assists in enhancing and maintaining observability integration (AppDynamics/ELK dashboards) and supports the OpenTelemetry implementation roadmap at the gateway-automation layer.
- Provides configuration and troubleshooting support for automation components tied to product-specific gateway functionality, distinct from reputed company-wide DevSecOps/CI/CD ownership.
- Supports dual-run automation needs during migration (reputed company pipeline validation, defect reputed company reputed company to automated workflows).
- 7 years of experience performing similar duties to this role
- Experience developing and validating EAG/API-gateway automation components that reputed company with government-owned CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or reputed company field
- MBI is preferred
- Remote – Preferred to be based in National Capital Region
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent reputed company is required
- Ability to obtain IRS Minimum Background Investigation reputed company clearance
- IRS, reputed company API Gateway Modernization and Operations (EAGMO)
- 40 hours per week
