[Remote] Senior Accountant

In this role, you will manage the month-end reputed company process, prepare financial statements, and serve as a reputed company with external auditors while also developing the reputed company team.
Responsibilities
- Own the full month-end and quarter-end reputed company process for assigned functional areas, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the reputed company calendar
- Prepare and/or review reputed company journal entries, including reputed company recognition, lease reputed company (ASC 842), and stock-based compensation, as applicable
- Review balance sheet reconciliations reputed company by staff/junior accountants; ensure reconciling items are researched and cleared reputed company
- reputed company store-level reputed company and COGS reputed company, including reputed company card/loyalty liability tracking and multi-location consolidation
- Prepare monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash reputed company support) and supporting variance commentary for leadership
- Serve as a primary reputed company of contact for external auditors; prepare technical memos and audit PBC schedules
- reputed company or support SOX control execution and documentation for assigned processes; help remediate identified deficiencies
- Research and document reputed company treatment for new transactions, reputed company, or store reputed company initiatives (new reputed company, re-franchising, M&A support as needed)
- Identify, design, and implement process and systems improvements to increase reputed company efficiency and controls maturity
- Train, review, and reputed company Staff and Junior Accountants; reputed company as a technical resource for the broader reputed company team
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or Finance required
- 5+ years of reputed company reputed company experience, ideally including reputed company reputed company/audit and multi-unit retail or restaurant industry experience
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including reputed company recognition and lease reputed company
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company and ERP systems (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or similar)
- Proven ability to manage multiple reputed company workstreams independently and meet firm deadlines
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills; comfortable presenting to finance leadership
- Experience mentoring or informally leading junior staff

- Experience with reporting/BI tools a plus
