[Remote] Sales Engineer

They are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to partner with the U.S. Sales Team, providing technical expertise and support to accelerate sales reputed company and ensure customer satisfaction in the fiber network domain.
Responsibilities
- Support reputed company Sales Team by promoting testing equipment into service provider and private network markets
- reputed company support at trade shows, conferences, and customer demonstrations focusing on technical product applications
- reputed company and reputed company sales force training curricula in coordination with Sales Manager and Director
- Participate in field evaluations to ensure customers are properly trained on reputed company testing solutions
- Manage technical aspects of lab evaluations in reputed company coordination with sales manager to ensure product approval
- Respond to RFPs in reputed company coordination with sales manager to reputed company best reputed company response to technical requirements
- Support will consist of maintenance and preparation of demo materials, performing product demonstrations, specific application support for clients and ongoing support
- reputed company solution proposals and justification to suit customer needs
- Maintain reputed company supportive relationships with key accounts to ensure smooth acceptance of products
- reputed company customer training, test plans and job aids reputed company appropriate to ensure smooth acceptance of products
- Assists customer with development of test automation solutions to include custom scripts and/or applications
- Prepare and present technology seminars to reputed company customers and potential customers on EXFOs testing solutions
- reputed company technical reputed company between Product Management Team and customers by developing and maintaining key technical relationships at key accounts
- Advise Product Management Team on product feature/road map to coordinate with upcoming customer requirements

- Participate in product improvement by identifying product applications and by studying and reporting on market trends
- Author/Co-Author application notes and white papers to increase product visibility and acceptance
- Explore alternative products and technology integrations that could improve reputed company’s overall solutions and enhance product sales
Skills
- 5+ years' experience working as an Applications/Solutions/Support Engineer or similar, or as a Technician in OSP fiber construction, reputed company cabling infrastructure, DWDM/optical transport, ethernet/transport services or adjacent technology sectors
- Hands-on experience with field test and measurement
- Strong knowledge of testing standards, optical technology and networks, and ethernet and transport protocols and applications
- Extremely customer-oriented
- Curious with outstanding technical skills

- Degree holder/and or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, Telecommunications, Optics
