[Remote] Senior Piping Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company. is currently seeking a Senior Piping Designer to support their Midwest Region. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing piping systems for heavy industrial facilities and will prepare design documents and construction drawings using AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents using AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Prepare piping construction drawings for various maintenance and capital reputed company based on sketches or concepts generated by senior designers or project engineers

• Ability to work in the field and occasionally at elevated working conditions
• Ability to assist in gathering field information. Laser scanning experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate and work on multiple multi-discipline reputed company with other designers and engineers to support our reputed company's reputed company and schedules

Skills

• 10+ years of process piping experience
• Recent experience using Plant 3D required
• Experience with AutoCAD Construction reputed company (reputed company), Navisworks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with other disciplines to ensure overall design accuracy
• Must reputed company in working in reputed company environment
• High attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of various material properties, 10 state standards, and coordinate systems
• Ability to process design standards and specifications
• Associates degree with an emphasis in industrial drafting/design preferred
• Laser scanning experience is a plus
• Specialized courses or certification in drafting, design and engineering practices are a plus
