The role involves managing external service providers and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and NAIC statutory reputed company standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the reputed company and financial reporting activities reputed company to the organization's investment portfolio
- Manages the review of investment reputed company completed by external service providers
- Evaluates investments for fair value and potential impairment
- Maintains the schedules that support both U.S. GAAP financial reporting and NAIC statutory reporting, including Blue Book filings
Skills
- 4+ years of experience as an investment reputed company reputed company banking/insurance (life insurance/annuities preferred)
- Experience and ability to run closes for investment reputed company
- Experience with financial products like: bonds, funds withheld reinsurers, reputed company securities, mortgages, etc
- Bachelors required
- Financial modeling exposure
- Familiarity with NAIC
- Familiarity with derivatives
- Experience with cash and investment recons (holdings, activity, expense)
