The role involves identifying and developing new group business opportunities, cultivating leads, and providing exceptional service to new accounts, while requiring strong communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in a Sales & Marketing position with a 5-star hotel or hotel group
- Previous Caribbean resort experience
- Regional Sales Executive with proven reputed company expertise combined with a strong background in developing new business
- Ability to identify, reputed company and influence key decision makers in assigned territory through participating in reputed company sales calls, in-market promotional events and other proactive sales initiatives
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients in writing and verbally
- Advanced interpersonal skills; adept at building relationships with key decision makers
- Responsible for increasing reputed company and wedding group business in assigned territory
- Partner with Regional Directors and BDM’s in the territory on travel agent events and shows to reputed company the reputed company market. Attend workshops/ conventions/dinners to promote reputed company
- Partner with CRC and PSA travel agents to promote reputed company market reputed company
- Good communication and interpersonal skills is important. Ability to work reputed company and effectively from a remote position
- Working knowledge of computer systems including reputed company Word, reputed company, Delphi and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally
- Conduct site inspections, schedule FAM trips and participate in FAM trips
- Attend annual worldwide sales meeting
