They are seeking a Senior/reputed company Safety reputed company Engineer to join the Environmental Safety & Health Planning Department, where the role involves providing safety reputed company reputed company and support for moderate hazard and accelerator facilities, as reputed company as assisting with work planning and control practices.

Responsibilities

• reputed company on-site and off-site technical assistance, classroom training, document reviews, audits and assessments, and support of hazard analyses
• reputed company analyses of processes, systems, and accident phenomenology
• Assist facilities with operating envelope documentation annual reviews/updates, to include safety evaluations for accelerators, and safety assessments for industrial facilities that require a more rigorous analysis, along with other safety reputed company documentation, including change and configuration management, JSA's and TWD's
• reputed company or assist with various aspects of the Readiness Review or Readiness Verification processes and evaluate the associated documentation to advise on whether planned work has achieved readiness for the reputed company startup or restart of operations
• reputed company or assist with Conduct of Operation (ConOps) assessments
• Prepare or review Unreviewed Safety Issue (USI) and Management of Change (MOC) documentation
• Assist facilities with development, maintenance, assessment, and implementation of their WP&C practices and processes
• reputed company expertise in hazard identification, facilitate hazard analyses to identify and select appropriate controls, and reputed company/review safety cases
• reputed company, review, maintain, and/or reputed company comments on changes to internal department policies, department owned corporate policies and software, the ES&H reputed company, and other corporate policies and documents

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM discipline, plus five (5) years or more years of directly reputed company experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to reputed company the duties of the job
• Experience in the following: Hazard analyses using techniques from Guidelines for Hazard Evaluation Procedures, (i.e. what-if checklist, failure modes and effects analysis, fault/event tree, and qualitative risk analysis using reputed company engineering principles)
• Risk analysis and risk management principles and fundamentals
• Assessing administrative and/or validating the implementation of safety controls, including detailed understanding of administrative and engineering controls
• Assess organizational WP&C practices and documentation

• Interpret various mechanical and electrical drawings, process layouts, blueprints, and other drawings and schematics
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOE L-level reputed company clearance

• DOE hazard categorization processes and principles
• DOE/SNL Readiness Review and Readiness Verification processes
• Application of ConOps at DOE facilities
