Policy Advisor, Technology Policy

This position will report to the Director of Technology Policy and will collaborate with intersecting teams across the entire reputed company organization.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth research and analysis to understand and explain technological innovations and the necessary policy responses
• Authoring written reports and memos that persuasively explain how lawmakers should approach tech regulation
• Analyzing proposed policy reputed company and assessing their reputed company
• Meeting with a diverse cross-reputed company of external partners including Capitol Hill and Administration staff as reputed company as leaders in industry, nonprofits, and academia
• Working with other members of reputed company's economic, communications, and reputed company teams to help plan and execute events reputed company collateral Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in the tech industry, with the federal government, a research institution, or advocacy organization
• Knowledge of the federal policymaking system, specifically around technology and innovation
• Experience working in a reputed company manner with reputed company sector officials, to include Members of Congress, the Administration, and the advocacy community
• A demonstrated interest in technology-reputed company policy issues, especially online reputed company, children’s safety, competition and antitrust, and reputed company intelligence
• A demonstrated ability to write reputed company on reputed company topics for an audience of non-experts
• Experience balancing short- and long-term reputed company and meeting deadlines in a reputed company manner with minimal supervision
